Evaluating the Whole Effects of Obesity on Health and Happiness.  (Part-1)

Obesity can affect an individual's physical and emotional health, affecting many facets of life. Obesity has physiological, psychological, and social repercussions. Here's how fat affects health and happiness holistically:

Obesity increases the risk of hypertension, coronary heart disease, and stroke. Overweight causes atherosclerosis and strains the heart.

Obesity influences metabolic disorders including insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. These problems can worsen health and well-being.

Sleep apnea and lung capacity can result from obesity. Sleep apnea can disturb sleep and cause daytime weariness.

In men and women, obesity can cause polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility, and hormonal abnormalities.

Obesity increases the chances of depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Weight stigma and prejudice might worsen these concerns.

Obese people may dislike their appearance. These issues may stem from social and cultural norms.

Stigma and prejudice related to obesity can lead to social isolation and discrimination. This, in turn, may impact mental health and overall happiness.
